The meaning of the throat chakra
5th chakra - communication
The throat chakra is called Viśuddha Chakra विशुद्ध in Sanskrit and means "mindfulness". It is our communication center and contains the needs: to experience, to express oneself and to accept the gifts of life. The word and truth consciousness, which is represented on this level, has a purifying effect on the consciousness and allows inner clarity to emerge. It is our fifth or larynx chakra and is located at the level of the larynx. It is considered the center of sound. It is the chakra responsible for speech and communication. The conscious use of words, sticking to the truth in everything you say and authentic self-expression are the developmental tasks associated with the fifth chakra.

The central themes of the throat chakra are: Communication, mindfulness, expression of thoughts/feelings, creativity, inner voice, self-determination, independence. The throat chakra determines our vitality; the better we express our inner truth, the more alive we feel. On the physical level it corresponds to: Skin. The associated gland is the thyroid gland. Principle
The manifesting power of the fifth chakra can turn any thought or feeling into a reality. The famous quote from Genesis describes the power of words: "And God said: Let there be light! And there was light." Words are first thought, then spoken and this creates reality. Every creation begins with vibrations, or a sound that brings manifestation into the world. In Buddhism, the karmic precept of right speech is one of the most important rules on the path to enlightenment. We can perceive that everything we do and say creates an effect and resonance in the world. Recognizing this is one of the deepest transformations of the fifth chakra, also known as the chakra of sound.
Effect
Expressing the inner truth; the throat chakra opens us up to the potential of externalizing our inner world and making it real, tangible. The fifth chakra is like a gateway that determines whether what we experience in our secret inner world is allowed to enter the outside world. But if the fifth chakra is not activated, everything that accumulates inside - even the most wonderful insights, feelings and thoughts - is meaningless. Conversely, everything takes on meaning when it is shared with others.
