The symbol of the Kali yantra
The center of the Kali Yantraconsists of five interlocking triangles with the apex pointing downwards. Downward-pointing triangles are symbols of the female power of regeneration. The triangles are surrounded by two circles, representing life and death, which in turn are surrounded by a ring of eight lotus leaves. The entire design is surrounded by a frame that represents the world, with gates in each of the cardinal directions.
Precious Kali Yantra jewelry with a subtle effect
The name Kali means "the dark one" and is closely associated with the color black. For our Kali Yantra pendants made of 925 Sterling silver, we use a special oxidation process to create intensely black surfaces. Against this background, the raised accents in polished and gold-plated silver look particularly luminous. Red is another important color of Kali, and the bindu or center of our Kali meditation jewelry always glows a fiery shade of red. In some of our Kali Yantra pendants, the central triangle is highlighted with red resin, while in others the bindu (center point) is marked by a genuine ruby.
Our Kali Yantra pendants are also available in gold-plated sterling silver. Given the importance of the color red in Kali symbolism, we offer the Kali Yantra pendants with both a radiant rose finish and a stunning 24 carat gold plating. On these pendants, the pattern of the yantra appears as raised lines in the gold or rose gold surface, with the red ruby or triangle in the center as a single dazzling accent.
