Healing properties of the blue china orchid

The blue china orchid or Caladenia gemmata is native to southwestern Australia. The plant has small oval leaves and up to three blossoms in colors ranging from intensive blue to purple. It is the most common china orchid in Western Australia and is found over the largest area. The designation “gemmate” in plant's Latin name means “with buds, eyes, or jewels.”
